1,10-Decanediol is a diol compound with the chemical formula C10H22O2. It is used as a minor intermediate in the production of polyesters, in essence, perfumes, and in pharmaceuticals. The diacrylate form is hydrophobic and used for flexible dental materials, radiation curable coatings, and lenses.
