Gantrade has developed a portfolio of chemicals and polymers for use in oil fields for both fluids and operations.

Gantrade supplies a wide range of performance oilfield chemicals and polymers applicable to all elements of oilfield operations, including drilling, workover and completion fluids, well cementing, stimulation treatments, and production services. As oilfield chemical suppliers, we are focused on the elements of the oil & gas market that leverage our strong positions in water-soluble polymers and organofunctional silanes.  Our products are base components in fluids and cement slurries that enable customers to achieve maximum results in their oilfield operations.

In oilfield cementing operations, operators use our cellulose polymers like HEC, HPMC and HEMC to minimize water loss to the formation and reduce the hydraulic friction of the cement slurry.  Cellulosic ethers serve as viscosifiers in workover and completion fluids, as suspending agents for proppants in fracturing fluids, and as viscosifiers and suspending agents in low-solids drilling fluids, which provide greater drill bit penetration rates and borehole stability.  Operators can cleanly break the cellulosic ethers with oxidizing agents, acids, and enzymes to reverse the viscosification and suspension properties or to clean the polymer from pore surfaces.

We also offer alternatives to guar-based products, as well as silanes for resin-coated proppants and corrosion inhibitors.

Operators use Gantrade products in systems for drilling and completing oil and gas wells, and related operations, including drilling fluids, cementing, workover/completion, fracturing, and haul roads dust control.
